It all Started with Freud

It all started with Freud.

Barrister Michael Shrimpton’s interviews with Sonia Poulton. He discusses the Jimmy Savile pedophile ring in part three where boys were kidnapped, molested and murdered. He touches on the Madeleine McCann case and blackmail regarding politicians. He talks about how the understanding of the human psyche was perfected in Germany with Freud.

Freud spent many hours pondering the psyches of his native Viennese clients. He decided they were ‘hysterical’ and had sexual fantasies and impulses deriving from ‘complexes.’ One starts to contemplate how someone like Robert Malone would decide Americans are acting like the Germans in the Weimar Republic before WWII with all this mass psychosis that gets bandied about.

“…a “mass formation psychosis” is the term that Robert Malone, MD, used on The Joe Rogan Experience to describe what’s been happening in the U.S. in recent years:

Malone began this part of the conversation by asking Rogan, “What the heck happened to Germany in the 20s and 30s? Very intelligent, highly educated population, and they went barking mad. And how did that happen?”

Since this wasn’t an episode of the TV show Jeopardy, Malone quickly answered his own question with, “The answer is mass formation psychosis.”

After their child Madeleine was abducted in Portugal, Gerry and Kate McCann were contacted by Clement Freud, grandson of Sigmund Freud, who invited them to lunch (he was a chef). A bit odd, because he kept to himself, but not odd if one were looking for information about the case. He even had the nerve to ask of Kate McCann:

“So, Kate, which of the devout Catholic, alcoholic, depressed, nymphomaniac parts is correct?”

Possibly referring to scurrilous ponderings of her character found in the endless rounds of tabloids. Or, possibly trying to throw her off guard where she might divulge something of use to him.

Clement Freud was a pedophile. And there was speculation he might possibly have been part of a pedophile ring.

Narcissists are US: Narcissistic Family, Narcissistic Society UPDATED

Ever wonder why there are so many wacko narcissists/sociopaths running things?

The microcosm is the macrocosm.

Yes, it starts All in the Family.

Over the course of a few generations, mainly after WWII in the US, family structures have been socially engineered to be narcissistic and/or sociopathic.

The Century of the Self

“Have we been unwittingly “sleeping with the enemy,” inducing trauma even as we try to heal it?”

edward bernays

In Consumerism and Identity: Some Psychoanalytic Considerations, we learn:

In On Narcissism (1914), Freud described the ego-ideal as the heir of infantile narcissism and as a psychic agency (an ego) capable of conscious self-observation…The Freudian concept of the ego-ideal is an amalgam of idealized images, fantasies and wishes against which an individual measures their experience.  It represents an attempt in later life to recreate the condition of primary narcissism, the period of infancy when a child imagined itself to be the centre of a loving admiring world.

In this process, often referred to as the ‘ego project’, the ego-ideal can be built on cultural and professional achievements, on nostalgic recreations of a golden past, or utopian visions of a glorious future. (Lasch, 1980; Gabriel & Lang, 1995; Schwartz, 1990) The project involves a fashioning of an image in which an individual can admire their self and through which he/she can gain the respect of others.

In The Sociopath Next Door, author Martha Stout reveals that:

We are accustomed to think of sociopaths as violent criminals, but a shocking 4 percent of ordinary people—one in twenty-five—has an often undetected mental disorder, the chief symptom of which is that that person possesses no conscience. And they can do literally anything at all and feel absolutely no guilt.

Freud’s Magic Ring

Sigmund Freud was a bit of a control freak.  He had some ‘disciples.’  And he indoctrinated them into his magical circle.

And he gave them a magic ring.  This ring was “…inscribed with a pastoral scene illustrating a shepherd and two goats.”

Perhaps Freud had a bit of a ‘savior’ complex.

Sigmund Freud

A disciple of Freud, Ferenczi, who was drafted into the Hungarian military as a medic, wrote to Freud in 1915 of an early analytic effort to help a fellow soldier. He describes a patient suffering from partial paralysis after suffering,

“shock from a grenade hit, which is considered organic by all the doctors. Since I opt for hysteria . . . I consider it possible — according to insight gained up to now — that this case (perhaps all such cases) are penal paralyses for small (especially sadistic) misdeeds of childhood; actually, they represent the death penalty.”

He goes on to explain that,

“as a child, the patient liked to shoot animals, especially crows; his grandmother told him they would avenge themselves on him. He went blissfully to war and eagerly shot at the Russians; just as he was taking aim, the shocking explosion came.”

Where else do we see magic rings?
