Retreat

My friend Karen Swim asks, “What are you doing with your days?”

Good question.

My response: Taking a blogging break.   I don’t know for how long.  Probably for two to three weeks.

Don’t worry about me.  I have some projects that need laser like focus and blogging and blah blahing keep me too frazzled to apply this focus.

I enjoy communing with all of you and I will be by to visit you when I can.

I was recently up in Northern Michigan getting pictures of fall color, fishermen, and yes, more barns.

And because I have that damn J thing going on with the Myers Briggs thing I just had to post today.  The little voice kept saying wait on it wait on it.  Who really cares?  Apparently my anal sense of puntuality does.

I’ll probably get around to it tomorrow.

Talk with you soon.  E

PS Oh and check out my RSS number since my last post.  It was up to 120.  Now it’s 108.  Hmmm.  I still haven’t quite figured this number thing out yet but I’m I’ll leave it up because now my curiousity is really piqued.

Your break is well deserved. Are you going to be finishing your book? I really want to read it.

Oh, and don’t feel bad about the feed number. It’s always lowest on Mondays. The reason is that the numbers run a day behind. Monday’s number is actually Sunday. It only counts feeds captured, and your computer can only capture feeds while on. Sundays see a lot more computers shut down. Even if your numbers really did dip, those people just don’t know what they’re missing.

Hi Ellen – taking a break from blogging is good sometimes. I was ill in June and I took most of the month off – same thing last October. We won’t forget about you, just because you didn’t post.

And don’t worry so much about your RSS. I stopped looking at mine altogether because it seems to fluctuate all the time.

Hi Ellen: I’m torn between saying “take a break”, and saying “I want to see more photographs of barns”. As to your subscriber feed, two weeks ago my numbers went down 10, down, 10, and then up 60. Sometimes feedburner just does weird things.

@Jaden – I’ll be sniffing about Hollywood. I still have to finish that water house in the air comment.

Yes, blogging takes up a great deal of time. A lot more than I thought at the beginning of this venture.

RSS? I’m getting used to it.

@Beth – Thank you for your support! I’m kind of at a crossroads right now whether or not I want to put stock photos on my site and sell them. It may be more than I can handle right now.
